Founded in 2004, Athena Internet specializes in providing best-in-class website hosting and website design services.
Our principals have been involved in both public speaking and publishing on business-related internet subjects, and are proud participants in the Open Source Community.
We founded Athena Internet because we saw a clear need for businesses and consumers to be made a full partner in the technological progress and innovation surrounding the F/OSS Community. Only by being made full partners in the success of the open/free software movement can businesses and consumers fully understand the core principles underlying the community, and understand their own personal stake in extending that freedom to others.
To this end, we enable our clients and customers with the very latest LAMP architecture hosting, with access to the full galaxy of open-source content management systems, e-commerce engines, collboration and groupware tools, and everything else that the Open Source world has to offer.
We also empower our customers by giving them the server resources needed to bring their vision from small hobby website to enterprise-class business, and are happy to offer advice and expertise to our customers via our support channels or forums.
